American Renaissance Revival Burled Walnut and Walnut Sideboard, third quarter 19th century, the marble top on a base with a pair of drawers over a pair of doors, the drawers with raised burled panels with carved pulls, the doors with ovoid burled panels mounted with grape and fruit carving, h. 38-3/4", w. 57-1/2", d. 23".
The left side base board molding has a very dark stain to the wood which also extends up the side approx. 6". Minor veneer chips to the drawer fronts and burl panels around the doors. Retains a light colored refinish. Original marble top with no damage or repairs. Light stains from age & use. Note: The grape clusters on the doors appear original, however, they are composition not wood.
