American Arts & Crafts Sterling Silver Cocktail Shaker, first quarter 20th century, probably Chicago, Illinois, the tapered cylindrical body with domed shoulders decorated with "hammered" finish and reeded banding, with tapering cylindrical collar, spout and squared handle, with cork-fitted reeded-edge button caps on the collar and spout, h. 10-3/4", dia. 4-1/2", l. 6-3/4", 21.99 t. oz. (excluding cork-fitted caps).
Overall Condition: Good. In good used condition with normal signs of wear (scuffs, three black spots, etc.), but no dents, breaks or repairs. There is a polished area under the spout for a monogram, but there is no thinning of the silver to suggest that one has been removed. Both corks on the lid and spout caps are complete and intact, but the lid is loose-fitting. (Spout cap snug.) Stamped (on the underside): "Sterling / Pat. Dec.28.1915". A very chic piece.
