Western Mexico, Colima, c.250 BC - 250 AD. A primitive looking tripod vessel. In red slip and mostly void of paint, pre-historic looking animal has small protruding head and ovoid body. Single spout in middle of animal's back on top. Length is 8.75". Interesting small hole on one side otherwise in nice condition. Ex. Don and Judy Hales Collection.
