Description
Western Mexico, Nayarit, c.250 BC - 250 AD. A wonderful standing burnished polychrome ceramic of a standing woman. She holds a small bowl against her right shoulder with right shoulder caped and right hand on her belly. Exquisite facial detail with incised teeth and painted ear spools. Skirt is painted in pyramid shaped designs. Ht: 14". Great patination and a superb piece for any collector.
