Exceptional fruitwood two-part Normandy buffet deux corps, Provincial, first half of the 18th century. Molded cornice over shaped frieze centered with a compass rose star, flanked by ebonized acorn drops, four plate rail shelves with ebonized spindles, above three short drawers. The base having two silver drawers with saw tooth inlay and ornate silver openwork bale plates over double doors with matching escutcheons, scalloped molding with recessed panels, centered in the base is an inlaid star above burl panel over an inlaid snowflake, raised on short cabriole legs.
