Mexico, Veracruz, c.250 BC - 250 AD. A great ceramic crème slip standing figure with semi-smiling face! He wears skirt and elaborate beaded necklace with his arms slightly held upwards, palms facing outward. He also wears typical large headdress and ear spools. Mouth open to reveal 2 teeth. Face and upper torso in pale orange polychrome. He also wears two large leg spools on each leg. On wood stand. Some repair to skirt and right foot. Ht: 12.5".
