Description

New Hampshire Currency
Exceedingly Rare November 3, 1775 Fifteen Shillings Note
Colony of New Hampshire. November 3, 1775. Fifteen Shillings. Due Date of December 20, 1780. Edge repairs and sealed splits. Appearance of Choice Fine to Very Fine.
Fr. NH-150. This is an extremely rare Fifteen Shillings denomination that is certainly missing in most collections. This example shows all four border designs with full margins, though close at top. There are some old restored edge pieces at left plus small scattered thin strips of older style archival tape used as reinforcement to splits along the centerfold and edges on the blank reverse. A great rarity and opportunity for serious New Hampshire currency collectors. Denomination listed as “Very Rare” in Friedberg. Missing in virtually every collection.
