Jackson Inaugural Medal and (2) Period Tokens as follows: Andrew Jackson Medal, silver, 18mm, struck by the U. S. Mint for his 2nd Inauguration, March 4, 1833. Originally a proof, the medal has toned considerably and is worn on its highest points. Extremely Fine; 1837 "Hard Times Token" reading MILLIONS FOR DEFENSE / NOT ONE CENT FOR TRIBUTE, lovely golden-brown patina, Extremely Fine; "Hard Times Token" promoting slavery's abolition with the legend AM I NOT A WOMAN & A SISTER, holed at one o'clock, else Fine condition.
