Wonderful Kashan jar from Iran

An attractive Kashan jar, Iran, 12th - 13th Century, with two registers containing human-headed animals and horsemen, all within an environment decorated with flora and fauna, a decorated border above and inscription around the upper shoulder. H: 6 1/4" (15.8 cm). Intact, some degradation of the glaze and chipping around the rim. Ex Detroit private collection.
