George III Silver Teapot, London, 1789, Hester Bateman, maker, paneled ovoid body with overall floral engraving, each side with an engraved crest, with carved wood handle and finial, ht. 6, lg. 10 1/4 in., approx. 13.6 troy oz.
Condition: Replaced hexagonal nut to finial bolt. Small circular hole to top of lid next to finial. Base re-soldered near lower handle joint. Scattered usage wear.
