Don Quixote is a 1955 drawing by Pablo Picasso. It was based on the novel Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes. It depicts the main character (Don Quixote) and his squire (Sancho Panza) standing among a field of windmills. The drawing was made to celebrate the 350th anniversary of the publication of Don Quixote, Part 1, and it originally appeared in the August 18-24 issue of Les lettres françaises, a weekly French journal.
