The result appears as though the statue is bronze and the method was probably not easily accomplished.The subject is a group of three mischievous, putti musicians on a foliate ground tipping over a vessel with liquid spilling down the hill. The putti on top holds a tambourine while the bottom two hold castanets and a flute. Musical putti were a popular subject in Greek Mythology and being putti, were always depicted as mischievous..
