HOLLY COMPOTES, LOT OF TWO, colorless, comprising a covered and an open example, each on high standard, bowl with rope under the rim, hexagonal facetted stem with lower step and circular foot, wafer construction. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. and others. Third quarter 19th century. 11 1/4" HOA, 9 3/4" DOA. and 6 3/4" H, 8 3/4" DOA.
Provenance: Jerry Lynn Wood estate, Dequincy, LA.
Excellent condition, open example undamaged, the other with normal roughness to cover rim, base rim with less than normal flaking/roughness.
