Fernando Botero [attrib] (Columbian, b.1932). "Bailarina Pequena". Bronze sculpture with natural patina. 1988. Inscribed "F. Botero" and dated "1988". Edition of six?. Fine, quality casting. Very good condition, the polished marble plinth with the expected wear and scattered small losses to the edges. Provenance: Private collection, Mexico City. One of an extensive collection of Botero bronzes. Probably cast from the original mould. Dimensions of sculpture: 7 7/8" height x 4 13/16" width x 3 9/16" depth (200mm x 122mm x 91mm).
