Hanau 19th century continental silver figural wine cooler by Georg Roth & Co. Figural handles on each side, one depicting the devil, and the other a maiden. Repousse body decorated with grape vines, and the horned head of Bacchus on both sides. Hallmarks on side of base designate Georg Roth & Co as the maker. Condition: Minor dings/dents to silver from age, wear and small holes to silver near the rim, see images. Measures 13.5" tall x 15.25" wide (handle to handle). Silver weight: 2868 grams or 92.21 troy oz. Shipping weight 7 lbs.
