19thc well detailed bronze after Michelangelo's lost model of Samson Slaying Two Philistines. Excellent overall condition, This unsigned bronze measures 13.5" high and 6" in diameter at the base. The Frick Collection in New York holds a similar version by Pierino da Vinci,(Leonardo's Nephew). Another version is by Giambologna and is a marble statue of Samson Slaying a Philistine.
