Stunning, original parade hat from the 1860s. Believed to have comes from the Diligent Fire Company in Jim Thorpe, PA. Beautiful image of Lady Liberty with eagle on front and beehive on back. Initials "W.J.K." on top of hat as well. Original label inside of hat reads "James Hill of Philadelphia, PA". This hat was part of a long-time collection. Some restoration to the purple and red areas but the images have no touchup. Extremely rare.
Condition (Excellent). Size 7" T.
