Attractively weathered on the shell side, the interior faces of this sliced ammonite have been brought to a high polished finish to gleam with warm brown calcite in the center, giving way to fine crystal vugs, separated by distinct white lines in the characteristic wave pattern, and transitioning to a fine-grained granite at the opening, each measuring 9 inches wide.
