This beautifully handcrafted vintage Large Louis Vuitton hard sided suitcase is covered in the traditional monogramed canvas, with a leather handle and reinforced brass corners with brass rivets engraved LOUIS VUITTON. The hardware retains it's original finish and has mellowed overtime into it's present golden brass color. The closures feature the engraved encircled LV, the lockplate engraved LOUIS VUITTON MADE IN FRANCE and numbered 118504 with an encircled R below. There is a single key of the same number. A matching triangular shaped luggage tag in the same monogram canvas is also present. The interior contains two LOUIS VUITTON buckled straps and a removable garment divider with a leather bound edge also with two LOUIS VUITTON buckled straps. The suitcase retains an original paper sticker that reads LOUIS VUITTON 877399, AV MARCEAU 78 bis PARIS, NICE. 2 AV DE SUEDE. Height 20 1/2 in. (52.1cm.), Width 31 1/2in. (80cm), Depth 10in. (25.4cm.)
