A Large Chinese Porcelain Vase, of baluster shape with a flared rim, circa 1900, decorated in enamel with allover stylized scrolling vines and an alternating pattern of pendant flower heads, with a lower lappet border, on each side both the neck and body have large central reserves, the lower painted with a river gorge with distant mountains, the upper a scholars garden with rocks and flowering bushes, the underside with pseudo character marks in blue underglaze.
