Huanghuali Carrying Box, China, 17th century, two-tier box, the cover with a long, rectangular, single-plank top above two tiers graduated in size sitting in an attached tray, the handle rising from the tray, the handle and corners with baitong mounts, a metal bar-lock with a stylized floral end runs through the cover, ht. 8 1/2, wd. 14, dp. 7 7/8 in.
Condition: minor normal wear to the corners and edges of the cover and sections
