A great rhino horn frog cane. The rhino horn handle, (verified), is 2 1/4" high and 2" at its widest. It depicts a detailed frog with brown glass eyes, perched on a rock and poised for action. There is a 1" silver collar on a honey-toned malacca shaft with a 7/8" replaced brass ferrule. The overall length is 36" and the condition is very good. Found in England it was perhaps made there, ca 1910. It is a very fine example in uncommon animal form. Estimate: $1800-$2800.
