Two Sets of Three Valances
possibly 19th century, the first a set of (3) with metallic applique in a floral and undulating vine motif on burgundy silk damask (21 x 82 in. each); the second a set of (3) with metallic applique in padded relief on velvet depicting urns and centering a rising phoenix and with metallic floral border (15x 82 in. each..)
Both sets with wear and loss of applique.
