Antique Russian enameled silver 1 finger cigar tube. Has Imperial coat of arms to silver band with chased floral designs. Has red pinstripe guilloche enamel. It is rumored that these cigar tubes were used for passing Imperial bribes. Holds 84 silver purity mark with Moscow town, assayer marks and Cyrillic workmaster marks. 19th century. Measures 7 5/8" length x 1 5/8" diameter (19.3cm x 4.1cm). Total weight of 5.05ozt / 157 grams.
