Quality 1722 “Harp Left” Wood’s Hibernia Halfpenny 1722 Wood’s Hibernia Halfpenny, First “Harp Left” type, Choice Extremely Fine-45 or better. This coin has a wonderful smooth, hard and glossy overall appearance. The centering is excellent on both sides, the details extremely crisp and sharp but for the typical die weakness on the central obverse highpoints. The later die state is attested to by the die break above the reverse date, which remains very distinct. A premium quality specimen and conservatively graded.
