Description

BREITLING - a gold plated manual wind gentleman's chronograph wrist watch, the silvered dial with hourly applied gilt batons with black inserts, bordered by a minute track with Arabic divisions, subsidiary recorder dials to three and nine o'clock, outer tachymeter scale, round case with stainless steel back, numbered 17993, fitted to an associated brown leather strap with pin buckle. Case diameter 36mm.

Condition

A Breitling gentleman's wrist watch, the manual wind movement is not functioning currently, the dial is in good condition although there are a few very small marks noticeable under closer inspection, some of the black insets in the hourly applied batons are beginning to show signs of wear, there is slight discolouration on the hands, one of the hands is very slightly bent at the end, the glass is in good condition, with only a few light scratches which should polish out, the case has medium scratches, and the gold plate is very worn, there are heavier scratches to the case back, the leather strap is beginning to show signs of wear and light creasing, there are very small scratches on the pin buckle.
