French bisque socket head incised “Depose 5” with lovely early pale bisque, dark blonde multi-stroked eyebrows, painted upper and lower eyelashes, blue paperweight eyes with threaded irises, closed mouth with lip shading line and high peaks on upper lip, pierced ears, cork pate with original skin wig cap, antique blonde mohair wig (a little sparse); original composition and wood Jumeau body with attached ball joints and straight wrists with Jumeau blue stamp on back. Wonderful rose satin and cream lace frock with old hand-written “Isabel 1880” paper label appears original, as do socks and rose satin shoes impressed “5 Made in France” (fabric worn, shoe buttons are missing), antique bonnet as well. What a fabulous doll, by a prestige maker, all ready to display!
