French Poupée Lady Doll.
Unmarked early pale bisque shoulder head, possibly by Barrois, with roundish face (pock mark on cheek” faint crease on crown rim, not a damage), feathered light eyebrows, painted blue eyes with heavy black upper eye liner, delicately painted upper and lower eyelashes, closed mouth with lip shading strokes, rosy cheeks, stout neck, molded collar bone, cork pate, replaced blonde mohair wig. Original body with kid torso, kid-over-wood legs and upper arms, with bisque lower arms and separate thumbs. Original two-piece brown and white checked linen gown (quite a few holes) with bustle and ribbon trim, complete underwear, antique shoes and stockings. Very appealing face with very desirable body style, stunningly beautiful early fashion doll.
