1878 patent by Elie Martin and sold as “Poupée Nageus.” French bisque head with glass eyes and closed mouth, human hair wig, cork torso with mechanism swimming clockwork mechanism which moves her arms and legs in a swimming motion, composition arms and legs, metal hands, redressed. Rare small size of this model, in working order. If you're looking for the unusual, this is it!
