Zhao Shaoang (1905-1998), was born in Panyu, Guangdong province. At the age of sixteen, he learned painting from the famous Lingnan painter, Gao Qifeng at Gao's private art school. He became a teacher at the Fushan Art Academy when he was twenty-three. In 1930, his work was awarded a gold medal at the Brussels International World Fair in Belgium. He was one of The Four Famous Painters of Lingnan Painting School. The year on the painting is 1986. L: 57 3/4 in.(146.5cm) x W: 27 3/4 in.(70.5cm)
