Old Russian silver badge of the Veterinaries haveing silver State Emblem surrounded at the bottom with a gold laurel and oak half wreath, the top of which does not cross the line of the upper shield in the State Emblem. Two silver interlaced letter BB (Veterinary) are superimposed on the intersection of the branches. Measures approx. 2 1/2" height x 1 7/8" width (6.3cm x 4.7cm). Total weight of 34.5 grams.
