With the great DiMaggio settling into retirement, it was up to a kid named Mickey Mantle to lead the Bronx Bombers to glory, and he was successful this season in bringing the club yet another World Championship. OAL (Harridge) ball features twenty-six bold ink signatures from such stars as Mantle, Mize, Rizzuto, Berra, Raschi, Reynolds, Martin and more. Stengel appears in clubhouse format. A light coating of shellac has maintained an average boldness of 9/10, with only Blackwell, Collins and Stengel dipping more than a point below. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
