Description
Early 1900's Weller Pottery. Ten-inch high vase produced in Zanesville, OH circa early 1900's. The golf motif vases produced by Weller are part of the series known as Dickensware which were decorated with outlines of brightly colored figures on either high glaze or light matte backgrounds. This vase is the light matte variety showing a stylized woman golfer in long dress at the top of her backswing. The vase tapers from top to bottom with narrow opening at the top and indented base. Excellent condition.
