1926-28 Jerry Ransavage Notre Dame Fighting Irish Sweater. Offered here is a gorgeous player's sweater straight from the era of the legendary Knute Rockne. Worn by Fighting Irish star Jerry Ransavage during the the late 1920's at the historic South Bend educational institution, it was obtained from an Indiana estate auction many years ago. Manufacturer's tag is in the neckline, while an attractive "ND" letterman's style patch is at front and center. The all important chainlinked name embroidered swatch is in the interior, while only "JR" remains. The remainder of this gridiron artifact displays superb quality, with no holes or tears.
