In the roccoco taste having elaborate carved wood scroll pediment, and shaped sides, with paneled back, this mirror originally hung in the Grand Pointe Hotel located in St. Clair Flats on Harsens Island at the turn of the century which burned down in the 1940's, the mirror was then rescued by an Algonac woman and placed it in her home a photo and artical is included with the lot about the hotel and pictured in the home in Algonac Mi.. 85" H x 52.5" w, circa late 19th century.
