A ROYAL VIENNA PORCELAIN CLOCK WITH BRONZE MOUNTS

The gilt bronze finial surmounts a domed porcelain cover of hand painted young maidens within raised oval gilt frames above a cast bronze lip, surmounted by four finials featuring rectangular hand painted porcelain plaques of young maidens and girls within gilt bronze frames. One panel includes an enameled clock face with Arabic numerals and hand painted floral swags. The clock is supported by a larger porcelain deep blue glazed base with raised gilt decoration creating demilune frames of hand painted pairs of maidens. Raised on gilt bronze bun feet. Stamped on mechanism: ""Made in France"" ""Médaille D' Argent, Vincenti et Cie"" and stamped ""4816 4 1 1855"".
Condition: Includes winding key. Rub through on gilt bronze surfaces.
