AN ITALIAN PIETRA DURA AND SCAGLIOLA TABLE ON A WROUGHT IRON BASE
The rectangular table featuring an oval scagliola seaside scene of a monk peaching to two travelers is banded with oxblood pietra dura fleur-de-lis on alabaster within a frame of oxblood guilloche form circles and banded with a black slate plain edge. Raised on a lyre form hand-wrought iron base, stabilized by scroll supports.
Condition: Minor cracks to stone veneer and minor scratches. Oxidation and patination to iron base.
