Signed Japanese wakizashi measuring 17-1/4" to the muni machi with wavy temper line, copper habaki, and having a wood scabbard with an iron hanger, octagonal iron tsuba with applied brass decorations, and cloth wrapped ray skin grip with a nickel plated plain menuki on each side.
One shallow nick 2-1/2" from the tip, bright blade with some small blisters. Untouched patina on tsuba, worn wrap, good scabbard missing the throat.
