Two Colored Lithographic Prints of British Origin. A print titled: "Welsh Peasantry. Drawn from Living Characters in 1850." Showing five women in traditional garb at the Llanberis Slate Quarries near Dolbadern Tower. Published by Wm. Pritchard, 1850. Matted in a gold and black painted wood frame. 14"h. X 17"w. image and 18 3/4"h. X 23 3/4"w. overall. Along with an organ grinder and monkey entertaining a small crowd at the Rose and Crown Pub. Title in margin reads: "A Musical Treat." Mounted in a carved and stained wood frame. 17 1/2"h. X 22 1/2"w. sight and 23"h. X 28"w. overall.
Condition: First listed has fallen off it's mounts and shows that it was trimmed. Other has a moisture stain and small tear on right margin. Also some solar and acid toning.
