One pair electronically tested 14KT white ladies cast & assembled ruby, sapphire and diamond dangle earrings with hinged with snap locking posts. Condition is new, good workmanship. Bright polish finish, with milgrain detailing throughout. Identified with markings of “14K”. Containing: Two prong set oval mixed cut natural rubies, measuring 13.00 x 11.00 x 6.70mm, approximate total weight of 16.84ct., clarity is heavily included, type II, medium dark, moderately strong, slightly purplish red color, (GIA slpR 6/4), cut is good. Transmitting light somewhat diffusely, transparent to translucent. Naturally occurring internal & external characteristics are present. Indication of laboratory high temperature heat treatment, with glass & flux additives. Measurements & the color grade are an average for the pair. Graded in the setting. Ruby has a low tolerance to rhodium plating, repolishing the surface, & ultrasonic cleaning. Fifty-eight prong set round brilliant cut natural white sapphires, measuring 1.70 – 1.70 x 1.11mm, approximate total weight of 1.42ct., clarity is slightly included, colorless, very slightly grayish, white color, (GIA W 0/3), cut is good. Transmitting light with a minimum of distortion, transparent. Naturally occurring internal & external characteristics are present. The color grade reflects the overall average for the group. Graded in the setting. Sixteen prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 1.70 – 1.70 x 1.02mm (depth est.) approximate total weight of 16 Stones = 0.40ct. Graded in the setting.
