Steel blade with wood handles wrapped in copper and brass; blades engraved with stylized designs; one blade inscribed twice with Amur(?) Sword from prisoner captured by -- on Dahomey on 1898/ Presented to B.F. Ponder; both with lizard skin covered sheaths; lengths of swords 18.25 in., lengths of sheaths 15 in.
