Full-Stock Percussion Rifle Signed J. F. Golcher
.36 cal., 36" octagonal barrel. Signed on top of barrel, engraved J. F. Golcher. Forward action percussion lock. Brass furniture and engraved silver eagle on the cheek piece. Barrel held to stock by three wedges. Maple stock.
Barrel is smooth with a nice plum color; some staining on barrel. Lock is grey to plum with some pitting around the percussion drum. Hammer has a small repair in the elbow of hammer. Stock is excellent with some nicks and dings.
