.52 cal., 40" barrel with barrel bands. Slant breech percussion action. No markings or proof marks. Long range rear barrel sight. Brass buttplate and nose cap. Period leather sling. Walnut buttstock with walnut fore end.
All metal is grey, sharp and crisp with some brown staining and pitting mixing in. Bore will clean to better. Wood with some nicks and dings.
