Allen & Thurber Percussion Pepperbox
.31 cal., 4" round barrels, S/N 255. Six-shot fluted barrels; marked on the bar hammer Allen's Patent and dated 1845. Walnut grips.
Barrels still retain some of the original blue mixed with plum. Frame has a nice brown patina. Grips are good.
