Antique Winchester Model 1886 Lever Action Rifle
.38-56 cal., 26" barrel, S/N 37896. Blue barrel, case colored receiver, walnut stocks; combination front sight.
Very good condition with an excellent bore. It retains ca 80% original barrel blue with loss on the high edges and thinning from aggressive cleaning. The receiver has most of its original case colors which have thinned and muted over time. The wood is very good with some water staining at the butt.
