the author's own copy signed and inscribed by him "1st Advance Copy..." on front free endpaper and with a few corrections to text in his hand and his bookplate on front pastedown, with 5 A.Ls.s. from Chapman to "Whitaker" dated 1926-28 and photograph of Chapman captioned by him "First shot at Houxty after entering my 75th year A.C." on verso plus some other ephemera relating to him all loosely inserted, colour plates, illustrations, original green cloth, spine titled in gilt, t.e.g., others uncut, very slightly rubbed at edges, 8vo, 1924.
