Die Box. Lake Forest, John McKinven, ca. 1985. Walnut die box for the classic transposition effect. A die vanishes from the box and appears in the magician’s hat. Included double-door feature. Die measures 3”. Good condition. One of perhaps fewer than six Die Boxes manufactured by McKinven, who specialized in handmade turned wooden apparatus.
