Morrison Pill Box. Lake Forest, John McKinven, ca. 1990. A red ball removed from a hardwood vase vanishes, only to reappear in the vase in solid form, a few moments later. Hand-turned maple vase accented with black lacquer. Vase stands 9” tall; ball 2 ½” in diameter. Hallmarked. Ball and shell show light wear to finish; very good condition over all.
