The curved laminated rosewood back is pierced carved with serpentine scrolls framing oak leaves and acorns under leaves and berries with a seashell at the top, the applied crest is centered with a rose over a basket overflowing with leaves and flowers; stands on cabriole front legs with roses and leaves at the knee and leaves wrapping around the foot, complete with summer flowers on the seat rail. In original finish, no tack holes in the back, few minor losses to leaf and floral carvings. 35 in. high x 19 in. x 19 in.
