Meriden B. Company Bi-fold wine bottle sleeve. This unique piece is hinged and bisected. It opens to accommodate a wine bottle and acts as a pitcher of sorts. It is marked with the Meriden B. Company mark with scales, Meriden Britannia Meriden CT, Quadruple mark, the number 2, a patent date of March 8th 1881, and the name Moritz Korff. This piece is in nice shape with even patina, and fine detail. It is decorated with a dragonfly, a fly, and flowers. The sleeve opens and closes with ease and closes firmly. This piece measures approximately 9.5"x 5" when closed.
